Trey and Morghan have known each other since they were in 4th grade. They had always been good friends throughout elementary and junior high. During the summer going into their sophomore year, they often hung out with a group of friends. During history class their sophomore year, a conversation about prom came up. Trey immediately said, "I'll go to prom with Morghan." (that's one way to ask someone to prom, right?) After hanging out non-stop for six months, Trey finally courageously asked Morghan to be his girlfriend on August 3rd, 2019. If you know Morghan and Trey, you know they have been inseparable since they started dating. (If you don't believe them, ask their parents) Within the first year of dating, Trey played many football and basketball games for the Coyotes. And Morghan cheered on the Coyotes! These were some of their favorite memories. Their first year of dating was also the year COVID-19 hit, and they thought their world was ending…. What could be worse than not being able to see each other every day at school, right? Just Kidding because it was the biggest blessing in disguise, and they spent much of their time stuck at home, hiking the Gail mountain and Sonic runs in Lamesa. They were relieved when they learned that they will get to have a senior year. Morghan would be a cheerleader again and Trey would be on the football field. They celebrated their first year dating at KBOB's in Lamesa (Yum).
Their second year of dating was filled with many football games, cheering, basketball games, baseball games, track meets, completing college applications, prom, all the senior year shenanigans, high school graduation, family vacation, senior trip to Key West, and moving into college. They upgraded this year by celebrating their two-year anniversary of dating at Table 82 (I just had to add that to let y'all know that Trey did redeem himself).
During their third year of dating, Morghan went through sorority recruitment, which was "the longest week" of Trey's life. They attended many Texas Tech football and basketball games, concerts, Theta date parties, and many breakfast dates to Stacked, moved out of the dorms, and went on more family vacations. These were just some of their favorite memories from their first year of college, but they could go on and on.
During our fourth year of dating (which is their favorite), they went to many Texas Tech football games, concerts, dinner dates, and a trip to Costa Rica; they both turned 21, went to Las Vegas, spent their holidays together, and got ENGAGED. Trey planned the most AMAZING surprise proposal at the Willows event center in Lubbock. Morghan arrived at the Willows thinking they were taking family pictures, and much to her surprise, she walked into the event center to letters that were shining in lights that read, "Marry Me," and her future groom was waiting for her arrival. After the sweetest proposal, Morghan's parents surprised her with an engagement party with those they love the most. Morghan and Trey were meant for one another and continue to see the blessings God has given them in their relationship.
